BACKGROUND

A bit about me

Recently, I was VP of Operations at Huggable, a consumer goods startup in San Francisco, specializing in organic baby products. Prior to Huggable, I led Business Development at Indiegogo, managing and sourcing strategic partners to help Indiegogo entrepreneurs build stronger hardware products and businesses. Previous experience includes Business Development & Marketing at software company, Box; Operations at Groupon; and Financial Analysis (specializing in Consumer Tech) at Investment Technology Group in New York. I have an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University.

 

Experience

VP of OPERATIONS, HUGGABLE

April 2019 - June 2020

  • Managed the complete business operations of Huggable, from purchasing stock, to fulfilling customer orders.

  • Built a team of supply/demand analysts, warehouse managers, and CS leads to keep business humming.

  • Owned and reported on financial metrics (including COGS & Gross Margin) to the Huggable CEO & board.

Head of Business Development, Indiegogo

February 2017 - April 2019

  • Led the 5-person Business Development and Strategic Partnerships team at crowdfunding company, Indiegogo.

  • Sourced, developed, and negotiated new strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, whose products or services help Indiegogo entrepreneurs build their products and bring them to market.

  • Managed existing partnerships with Arrow Electronics and Ingram Micro; responsibilities include generating quality leads and new revenue, and executing on co-branded marketing initiatives.

Business Development Manager, Box

April 2016 - February 2017

  • Managed strategic partnership between Box and Google, running day-to-day operations, executing joint go-to-market activities, overseeing product integrations, and strategizing new ways to grow the relationship.

  • Managed partnership product integrations between Box and IBM, negotiating and closing new commercial agreements, scoping integrations, and developing a product launch strategy.

Product Marketing Manager, Box

July 2015 - April 2016

  • Built a marketing campaign for Box, targeted specifically towards public sector organizations.

  • Conducted market analysis, compiled testimonials, developed messaging and positioning frameworks, and created sales decks and datasheets for Box representatives to more effectively sell to the government sector.

  • Developed a dynamic, Excel-based ROI tool to help public sector customers visualize the cost savings and business benefits their organization could realize by adopting Box as their document-management platform.

Operations Analyst, Groupon

Summer 2014

  • Built an inventory-planning tool for Groupon’s Apparel, Electronics, and Home Goods businesses, suggesting an optimal product mix for upcoming quarters based on historical sales data.

  • Recommended expansion into private-label categories, growing Groupon’s bottom line by over $5 million.

Financial Analyst, Investment Technology Group (ITG)

July 2010 - May 2013

  • Crafted equity research reports for investment clients, which analyzed market trends and offered insights on relevant technology and e-commerce stocks, based on analysis of proprietary and third-party data.
